Sizing for newborn children is traditionally grouped into 0 to 3 months (03), 3 to 6 months (36) and 6 to 9 months (69). Sometimes manufacturers just put 3, 6, or 9 as the size - you should read this as "up to 3 months, up to 6 months, up to 9 months". Bear in mind that babies all grow at different rates, and different manufacturers allow for a different spread of sizes at each stage.
